| We want you to
experience God’s love and presence in our church. We want to provide a
safe and fun environment for children and for all ages. We want everyone
to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Christ. Our desire is for
the Living Christ to be the central influence and presence in everyone’s
life. The Bible is the basis for all our teaching and the guide for all we
do. OUR GOALS AND
PRACTICES
1. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and is the only source and
guide for faith, doctrine and life.
2. We believe that a congregation is an assembly of believing Christians
where the Word of God is preached in truth and purity and where the
sacraments are administered in accordance with the Lord’s institution.
3. Recognizing the clear distinction made in the Scriptures between the
children of God and the children of the world, we believe in a personal
experience of salvation in Christ.
4. We conduct our services using a simple order of worship where the
sermon, based on the Word of God, occupies the most prominent place in
the service.
5. We use a contemporary form of worship. We have a praise band,
children’s message, testimonies and God’s Word is proclaimed in a easy
to understand format.
6. We encourage the use of lay persons in spreading the gospel and
furthering the work of the kingdom of God.
7. We seek through Sunday school, Confirmation instruction, Bible camp,
District and National Youth retreats and activities to teach our Youth
to be followers of Jesus Christ.
8.We believe in a strong evangelistic emphasis and with other
congregations support mission work in Canada and the United States,
Cameroon, Chad, Japan and Taiwan.
9. We are actively interested in giving persons of all ages an
opportunity to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
10. We are affiliated with the Church of the Lutheran Brethren an
evangelical synod desiring to reach the unsaved world wide.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“Our purpose is to encourage Christian brothers and sisters, to reach
the non-churched with the Good News of Jesus Christ so that He may
become the central influence in their lives, and that our church would
be build up by His Grace and grow strong and responsible in its worship,
mission, giving, and prayer
